The original model Thompson was designed to be a "trench broom" for the static trench combat of WW1 but is better known as the infamous "Chicago Typewriter" or "Chopper" of 1920's gangster fame. The distinctive cooling rings on the barrel, Cutts Compensator for taming muzzle rise, wooden foregrip and drum magazine makes it one of the most recognizable firearms of all time. Once the weapon of choice for famous outlaws such as John Dillinger, the early Thompson was fielded first by the British Army and later the US Army and Marines in WW2.

This highly prized real steel collectible is now available as a fully licensed airsoft AEG complete with a metal 450 BB drum magazine. Other features include dual safe/ fire and semi/ full auto selector switches, mock Cutts Compensator, and metal upper body. This AEG also accepts the standard Thompson AEG stick magazines as well.
